Bending forming process

(1) Working principle of press-bending forming Press-bending forming is to use a hydraulic press to apply pressure to the material, and to generate a bending moment on the material through the press-bending die, so that the material is bent to form a certain angle and curvature, as shown in Figure 12.

(2) The characteristics and key technologies of the press-bending forming process Both the L-shaped and S-shaped aluminum alloy profiles can adopt the press-bending process. Due to the different profiles and shapes of the profiles, the design of the rebound amount of the press-bending dies for various press-bending parts is different. At the same time, it is necessary to explore the rebound amount through continuous bending process tests and obtain a reasonable mold bending surface after several mold repairs. Several key technical points of the bending process: ① The design of the bending die should fully consider the deformation trend and rebound amount of the material. ② Since the aluminum alloy profile has a hollow cavity structure, reasonable filler selection is the key to press bending. ③ For profiles with asymmetrical cross-sectional shapes, effective measures to prevent side bending should be fully considered during bending.

Bending forming process

(1) Working principle of winding forming The winding process is divided into two working modes: ① Mode 1: As shown in Figure 13, the outer roller 4 rotates around the inner roller 8, and under the action of the radial roller pressure of the inner and outer rollers , the material is rolled and formed, which is called "planetary wheel type". ②Mode 2: As shown in Figure 14, the material 1 is fixed on the bending die 2 by the U-shaped clip 3, and the bending die 2 makes a circular motion and drives the material 1 to complete the arc under the action of the pressing die 5 and the guide die 4.

The difference between the two modes is that the material in Mode 1 does not move in the longitudinal direction, while the material in Mode 2 moves with the bending die in the longitudinal direction. In Mode 2, pellets can be added to the bending arc of the thin-walled profile to prevent deformation of the material section. Bending forming is widely used in the arc bending process of profiles. The organic combination of the two bending modes can realize the realization of complex multi-radian workpieces, such as the bending of S-shaped workpieces as shown in Figure 15.
